Our focus for 2017 is going “Back to Basics”. We are working on strengthening our core programmes and focusing on what has made us successful over the years. The Open Days were re-launched in the first term. The Open Days are SSP’s first school days where all the partners – partner schools, parents, mentors, alumni and SSP come together to rally their combined support for the incoming class and the more senior SSP scholars, at a partner school.

The events struck a chord, and set a tone for the new and old scholars for the year. The scholars’ confidence was boosted and the anxiety of what was to come quickly diminished as they witnessed, interacted and heard directly from their support network. Our heartfelt gratitude to the partner schools, the mentors and alumni who honored our request to re-introduce the Open Days. Special thanks also go out to the SSP current scholars who showed up as big brothers and sisters, proudly showcasing their school premises with enthusiasm and pride. They set a fine example of what being an SSP Scholar is about.
